Course content:

Sting's Nightclub Security Training goes above and beyond Basic Security Training (BST or ABST), and Advanced Security Training (AST).  Upon completion of our program, your door security staff will be able to control, diffuse, defend and prevent potentially dangerous situations from occurring which will reduce exposure to liability and increase revenues.    

• Customer Service
• Interview, assessing, positioning and stance
• Enforcement of "General House Rules"
• Tactical Communication "Verbal Judo"
• Legal (criminal versus civil) implications, C.O.P.S.
• Team communication (hand signals) with security, managers, bartenders, servers, hosts, porters, etc.
• Flashlights for communication and as a defensive weapon
• Defense against edged weapons, firearms, beer bottles, etc.
• Escort 1 man 2 man,
• Forcible eviction (men versus women)
• Hammerlock and control tactics, small joint control, defense against punches and kicks,
• Escapes and counters, basic ground control and defense, multiple attackers
• Basic first aid procedures, hazard assessment, for Nightclub
• Basic search procedures (weapons, alcohol, drugs, etc.)
• Dealing with intoxicated patrons, refusing entry, refusing service, "cutting-off" a patron
• How to Check ID's
• Role playing, scenarios and training
