Preparing For The Course

Where You Learn:
A comfortable and efficient study space is important in online learning. Your computer and the area immediately surrounding it is your physical classroom, along with the virtual classroom provided by us. If you are studying at home, it is important to have a good chair and desk to work at, along with a properly functioning monitor and good lighting.

If you are studying at work you similarly need to have a proper workstation set up along with a place to store your course materials between study sessions. Plan for this with your supervisor before the course and you will be ready when you sign on.

Technical Requirements:
Each student will require a computer configured for and capable of accessing the internet. It is assumed that students have a basic understanding of Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox and are able to send and receive email. Students will require Adobe Reader version 7.0 or above to access the course material. If you do not have this yet, a free version can be downloaded at:
