Alberta Basic Security Training (ABST) Online

The ALBERTA Basic Security Training (ABST) is theory-based and skills-based 40 hour program designed to provide adequate training to those that wish to be security professionals. Upon course completion our students will be trained to evaluate, diffuse and control a variety of potentially confrontational encounters, use appropriate legally permitted physical control tactics, and properly document incidents (including operational reports, incident reports, and new USE OF FORCE report) in order to avoid criminal and civil liability.
